Axis Bank Magnus Credit Card is the bank's flagship super-premium offering for HNIs and frequent travellers. Earns 12 EDGE points per Rs. 200 on base spends up to Rs. 1.5L per month and an accelerated 35 points on spends above Rs. 1.5L. Travel EDGE bookings earn up to 60 points per Rs. 200. Unlimited domestic and international lounge access for primary and add-on cardholders, 2% forex markup, 40% dining discount and EDGE miles transfer to 15+ airline and hotel partners make this a strong all-round premium card.
Regarded as one of India's best premium travel cards but the April 2024 devaluation drew significant criticism. Community appreciated for unlimited lounge access and TRAVEL EDGE rewards. Main complaints are the high Rs. 1.5L monthly spend threshold for accelerated rewards, removal of concierge and BOGO, reduced miles transfer ratio and the Rs. 25L annual fee waiver threshold. Frequently compared with HDFC Diners Club Black Metal as the two best non-invite premium cards.
